World Day of the Sick 2020 – coronavirus outbreak, COVID-19.

The flow of life is a mystery to everyone but God. Surrendering ourselves to His will allows us to navigate unspeakable, and seemingly endless pain.

When God heals someone, He is accepting the suffering of Christ in place of our suffering (1 Peter 2:24) says “By his wounds you are healed.

The above context was taken at the Special Holy Mass celebrated at the Chapel of Caritas Sri Lanka – SEDEC this morning (12^th February) at 8.15 a m. offered by the National Director, Rev. Fr. Mahendra Gunatilleke, to intercede God’s healing power upon all those suffering from the Corona Virus worldwide, and to pray for the souls of over 1100 who have died of the same cause.

Specific intentions were presented requesting God’s intervention, and protection for those who are not infected, and quick recovery for those that are infected.

The entire Caritas Family staff joined in the Holy Mass and fervent prayers.
