Caritas Sri Lanka and Kansarmen SL Foundation signed an MOU today to implement project related to water and sanitation.
Representing Caritas Sri Lanka, Fr. Mahendra Gunatilleke , National Director and Mr.Chaminda Fernando Pulle, Director, Kansarmen SL Foundation signed the MOU.
Under this initiative, both the organizations will work in partnership to implement projects in selected areas.
Caritas will work through the Diocesan Centres in the Northwestern, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces to identify the project locations and hence will work with Kansarmen SL Foundation in reaching out to the communities suffering with the water issues.
Over the years, both the organizations have been heavily involved in the water and sanitation projects and have gathered sufficient knowledge and expertise.
Speaking at the signing of the MOU, Fr. Mahendra stated that Caritas Sri Lanka and its network has worked with many partners over the years and this partnership too will flourish in the time to come while serving the marginalized communities.
