The session was led by resource person Mr. Lanka Geenage Pemasiri, a Human Resource Officer and Career Guidance Practitioner at the Department of Manpower and Employment, District Secretariat, Matara. Her presentation delved into key topics such as becoming a social worker in the field, managing risks and challenges, adopting a positive approach to work, and understanding the differences between soft and hard skills.
There was a high level of engagement and enthusiasm among participants. Interreligious leaders and youth expressed interest in the activities and presentations. The interactive group work created active listening and collaboration, enabling participants to share experiences and strategies related to peace forums.
